Dr. Subhash Brahmbhatt is an eminent professor and research scholar of Indian Culture. He was the Principal of H. K. Arts College, Ahmedabad for more than 20 years (1998 – 2018). UGC New Delhi had nominated him as research scholar and professor of Indian Culture and Indian Art, under the INDO Spanish academic exchange program for GRANADA University – Spain (2007-2008). Besides this he has been awarded Ph.D. honored by HE the governor of Gujarat as the first Indologist of Gujarat State.

Dr. Subhash Brahmbhatt has been leading K. N. University, Ahmedabad as its Vice Chancellor since 2023, guiding its vision and growth.For the last 42 years he has worked as professor and principal of H.K. Arts College of Gujarat University and he added number of feathers in his cap.

Looking to his academic and administrative ability UGC, New Delhi had appointed him as academic auditor of autonomous colleges for development of Rani Durgavati University, Jabalpur, M.P. and autonomous engineering colleges of Bhartiyar University of Coimbatore, Tamilnadu, for five years (2012-2018).

Looking at his experience and academic outlook he was elected as syndicate and sanate member of Gujarat University for two terms. Above his administrative ability he is a researcher and scholar of Indology. He has explored Buddhist Art and Architecture of Gujarat. He has written several research papers on Buddhist Architecture of Gujarat. He has also worked on Islamic Art and Architecture of medieval Gujarat. His number of articles on Architecture of Ahmedabad has been published in research journals and Gujarati News Papers too. Mr. Subhash Brahmbhatt is a good orator and has delivered number of research based lectures with slide shows on Indian culture and history of the heritage city Ahmedabad.

He takes a great concern for scientific development of Indian education system and society too. Dr. Brahmbhatt is associated with number of academic institutions and social organizations in India.
